Café Jeffrey Willems is a place of honor and a tribute to Jeffrey Willems. He worked as radio dj, as voiceover for radio, television, commercials and documentaries and as digital-media-developer. The last three years of his life he has been retrained as a certified stress and burnout coach. But on a spring day in 2022, without any signal or warning, my dearest friend Jeffrey's life has ended due to cardiac arrest. His life full of plans, work and love for people and music ended unexpectedly.
This is what Jeffrey said about creating his radio-channel; Trekstation Café Elle: “Painting pictures with music Café Elle is the station imaging 'a bon voyage' full of astonishing musical surprises. Picture this while listening: traveling through mystic France on a hot summer day. Female vocals will be your guidance on the journey. A road trip of discovery, wonder, travel and meeting each other and... yourself. “Le son de la découverte, de l'émerveillement, du voyage et de la rencontre”.
Trekstation Café Elle was Jeffrey’s vision to life, his personality, his character. That’s why I have renamed this station to Café Jeffrey Willems. It is exactly as Jeffrey left it. Feel at home at this beautiful place with its hospitality and taste.
